ABSTRAK
Daun prasman memiliki kandungan senyawa flavonoid golongan quersetin dengan mekanisme kerja yang diduga menghambat enzim sitokrom P-450 sehingga berperan dalam penghambatan proses pembentukan prostaglandin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis yang paling efektif sebagai analgetik dan waktu analgetik tertinggi setelah pemberian dosis ekstrak etanol 96% daun prasman. Hewan coba yang digunakan sejumlah 25 ekor dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok perlakuan (tiap kelompok 5 ekor mencit) yaitu : kelompok negatif (CMC-Na 0,5%), kelompok ekstrak etanol 96% daun prasman dosis I (30 mg/20 g BB), kelompok ekstrak etanol 96% daun prasman dosis II (60 mg/20 g BB), kelompok ekstrak etanol 96% daun prasman dosis III (90 mg/20 g BB), dan kelompok kontrol positif (parasetamol 130 mg/ 20 g BB).

The analgetic activity of ethanol 96% extract prasman leaf (Eupatorium triplinerve Vahl) on male mice (Mus musculus L.) .
Abstract
Prasman leaf have flavonoid compound which belong to quercetin group with mechanisme of action that can inhibiting cytochrome P-450 enzyme so it assumed can inhibiting prostaglandin forming process. Purpose of this research was to determine mice the most effective dose as analgetic and the highest analgetic peak time after administration of ethanol 96% extract dose of mimba leaf. The animal model that used 25 mice and divided into 5 group (5 mice each group) which is : negative (CMC-Na 0,5%), ethanol 96% extract mimba leaf dose 1 (30 mg/20gBW), ethanol 96% extract mimba leaf dose 2 (60 mg/ 20gBW), ethanol 96% extract mimba leaf dose 3 (90 mg/20gBW) and positive control (paracetamol 130 mg/20gBW)
