Abstract Game can be interpreted as an activity that aims to get pleasure. As a result of this rapid development, innovations emerged from the game development itself such as Kinect, Augmented Reality, 2D, 3D and others. Finite State Machine (FSM) as a machine learning method can be interpreted as a control system design methodology that describes behavior. The research method used in making this game is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). This study aims to apply the Finite State Machine and Waypoint methods in 3D adventure games. The advantages in making this game are that the implementation consists of 2 methods so that the methods for enemy NPCs and ordinary NPCs are not combined and can save memory, memory usage becomes smaller, playing activities become more complex, and enemy NPCs are able to make their own choices Keywords : Finite State Machine (FSM), Game Adventure 3D, Waypoint
