Carrot leaves contain flavonoid and polyphenolic compounds which are thought to have antibacterial activity of Propionibacterium acnes for anti-inflammatory causes of acne. Acne is a skin disease that involves inflammation of the polysebaceous glands by Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) bacteria. .acne. Determination of bacterial activity by the diffusion method. The results showed the total phenol content of the carrot leaf ethanol extract at concentrations of 50, 70 and 96%, which were 36.37, 42.08 and 39.36 mgGAE/gram, respectively. Determination of Inhibitory Width (LDH) in carrot leaf extract with a concentration of 80% in 70% ethanol extract resulted in an LDH value of 2 mm with a weak category.
